Software QA Engineer

CMSN Group Pty Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our enterprise software, AI applications, cloud platforms, ERP systems, eCommerce solutions, and mobile applications. You will work closely with software developers, business analysts, and product managers to deliver high-quality products through effective testing and quality assurance practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

• Perform manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and desktop applications.

• Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira or similar tools.

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.

• Validate REST APIs using Postman or similar tools.

• Collaborate with developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve defects.

• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and Agile ceremonies.

• Create and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

• Verify software performance, usability, security, and compatibility across multiple platforms.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing.

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.

• Experience with manual testing and test case development.

• Knowledge of automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

• Experience with API testing using Postman.

• Basic SQL skills for database validation.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI-powered applications or enterprise software.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration.

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.

• ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Certification.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• Experience testing ERP, CRM, POS, or eCommerce platforms.
